A simple 20-minute Who Needs a Gym home workout routine that includes squats and pushups.
Simple workout really. 10 sets of 10 reps each of both squats and pushups. My time, 20 minutes and 42 seconds. Total reps of each exercise: 100. Total number of movements: 200.
Round 1 ~ Round 10
10 x Squats
10 x Pushups
I finished the first two rounds in under 2 minutes - I thought I could do it in 15 minutes but was toasted as I got deeper into the workout. My recommendation: take breaks as needed, even breaks in the middle of each set, its OK! Also, if you are getting toasted towards the end, do the pushups on your knees - just get to the end.
Make it more difficult
Too easy for you? OK here is how you can ramp it up. Do incline pushups instead of pushups and do jump reach squats instead of squats.
Round 1 ~ Round 10
10 x Jump Reach Squats
10 x Incline Pushups
Now you will burn.
